MC Again

I somehow scratched my right eye last Tuesday morning, and couldn't go to work. My good eye specialist, Dr. Dunstan Fernandez wasn't in that day, so I could only make an appointment on Wednesday morning. Thank God I had some spare antibiotic ointment and 1 final eye patch. By Tuesday evening, the eye patch was out, but I'm not taking any chances, so visited the Doc the next morning. So last week I was on MC on Tuesday and Wednesday.

This Monday morning, I woke up to a call from work, and went back to snooze a little. But the pain came back. I thought sleeping it out would work, but by noon, it was still lingering, and I had to patch myself into a pirate again. Or as my mom calls it, a one-eyed-monster. My wife says its coz I was too tired from washing the car. Haha...

Its Monday night, I'm feeling much better, but everyone said to see the doctor tomorrow. Well, we'll see.

Hi,
I am impressed with your passion in your blogging about your x20. I have just purchased an x20 abt 2 days ago. I have to decide on the colour, my heart tells me i should go for the grey. What's the best care advise for a brand new x20? Should I sent it for waxing? Or maybe I should do it myself.
How has the car performed so far? My test drive tells me the steering is TOO light, I haven't got the chance to drive it on high speed, will it adjust itself at higher speed? i sure hope so for safety sake!!
Almost everybody says I will regret buying this car; korean brand mentality, but I am following my guts and also what my pocket allows..hehe. How long have u had this car? Hoping to hear from you soon. Cheers!

Hi! Thanks for the comment. I've just re-found my passion to blog about X20.

Care advise? Polish and wax. Wash your car weekly. Do it yourself. Follow my blog post on car washing :)

Yes, the steering tightens up at high speed. Trust me, it just needs a little to get used to.

You will only regret buying this car when you want to sell it ;D

I've had it for 1 year now. Its a value car!

Hi jason,
Does a brand new car needs waxing immediately? What brand do you use? Where's the best place to get this sort of stuff? How's the fuel consumption after a year? Any trouble so far from the car?
Wow!!! I can't believe I am asking soo much questions!!! haha

Does a brand new car needs waxing immediately? Its not a must, but I would advise to polish and wax to preserve the paint's clear coat.

What brand do you use? I'm using Turtle Wax. The brand doesn't really matter. Its the method.

Where's the best place to get this sort of stuff? If you got money, go to a detailer. I recommend Pro Detailers, Sunway D'sara. If low budget, D-I-Y.

How's the fuel consumption after a year? Still the same, good for a 2 liter car. Highly depending on driving style (your right foot).

Any trouble so far from the car? The engine died on me once, but since then, no major issues. http://elantrax20.blogspot.com/2008/04/car-stalled.html
